• Question: you say you write a code for a few hours, what type of code is it?

      It’s normally something little to plot out some data the way I want or to pull out the section of an image I want and circle all the galaxies with a red colour say or to take a model of the light a galaxy emits and see what it would look like if I put the galaxy billions of light years away. That kind of thing anyway.
      The code I use is written in a ‘language’ called IDL, which is good for processing images which I have a lot of.
