Question: what would you call the type of computer? would it use less resources and maybe help stop golbal warming?

  This type of computer is called a quantum computer. It would probably use a lot more power because, at the moment, we expect to cool them down almost as cold as you can get (absolute zero) for them to work. That takes a lot of energy.
  
  However, they might have the potential to model climate and weather systems much more accurately, maybe giving us the chance to understand the changes climate change is causing.
  
  To be honest, we really have no idea what these things can do and we won’t until someone actually builds one.
