Question: how much money do you earn?

Fair question, but it’s one of those private things! People don’t normally openly discuss exactly how much they earn. But, I can give you an idea. It’s more than 30,000 pounds a year, and less than 35000 pounds a year! However, I don’t have to pay for travel to do work on volcanoes out of my own money, the University pays. And there are other benefits that I don’t have to spend money on, so it’s not as simple as a number. Some geologist jobs in Australia pay more than 100,000 dollars a year – which is a lot of money! It just depends on what you like to do.
