• Question: How many dwarf planets are there in our solar system?

      Huh, well I was about to write that I thought Pluto was the only one, but then I went and looked stuff up and it turns out that the IAU (International Astronomical Union – those guys who decide what is allowed to be a planet and what no) has currently defined 5 dwarf planets in our Solar System, with the expectation of up to a couple hundred more if we really expand the search.

      So I don’t feel so bad about Pluto now, he’s got some buddies of his own.
