      🙂

So, I am a student registered at a University in South Africa. I actually have 3 supervisors, one from my South African uni, one from the Taiwan institution, and one from the USA. So, I work “for” Taiwan and SA. Taiwan and SA each pay half of my “salary”.

Then, Taiwan and SA are both members of the ATLAS experiment, which allows me to do my research on it. And I’m based at CERN because it’s definitely the best place to be based when doing this sort of stuff (though of course it’s still possible to work from anywhere).
