• Question: Hi I'm colourblind and was wondering if you knew if there would ever be some kind of cure for this mabye glasses or something? Dont know if anyone specialises in this sort of thing so i'll ask everyone.

      Possibly. The problem is that it’s difficult to replace the cones in the retina. One possibility is to link your brain to a camera chip that acts like a retina, but hooking it up to your brain is difficult, but maybe possible in the future. That said, its not all bad – people with colourblindness are sometimes better at seeing details than people with colour vision. The military used to get colourblind people to look for camouflaged defences in spy plane photos.
