I don’t know! I’m not planning to – I know someone who did or does, and I think you can do a PhD at the same time as working for them (but that’s like doing 2 jobs, which is tough!) But they seem like a good company to work for, so if I quit astronomy I guess I could always apply. There are a lot of good companies out there if you look, though – sometimes small companies do interesting things too!
