• Question: did the moon use to have water in it?

      Maybe! People think there might be water in the craters on the poles of the Moon, but we haven’t found any yet. If it existed, it would be useful to help start a moon base, as people need water to live but flying it from Earth would be very expensive.

      Yes it does! Some of the moons rocks contain water. It’d be hard to get it out because it’s held in there very tightly – a lot of it is in the minerals themselves. There are plans going on that try and figure out ways of harvesting this water, which would make space exploration a lot easier…
