• Question: Computer science already aids some medical scenarios is it likely that in the future these two disciplines will be viewed as biomedical engineering?

      Computer simulations are already used to help make models of organs, etc, and biomedical engineering already exists. It’ll probably become more important in the future as technology gets better, sure.

      Yes, disciplines are always merging and new ones are being made as new discoveries branch science into new directions. However, there is a pretty clear divide between science and engineering, it’s just that when they overlap – stuff happens! Science is about finding new things out, whereas engineering is more like solving tricky problems with science.
