Question: Are galaxies living?

Interesting question! Not according to the definition in biology – they don’t reproduce, respire, etc. But they are very complicated things, with lots of gas sloshing about, stars growing old and dying, new stars being formed, etc. They’re not alive, but they are very interesting things indeed!
