      I don’t know much about medicine – try asking this question in the Cells or Blood zone. I will say that how dangerous surgery is depends on the person. An obese person has a much higher risk in surgery than a normal weight person.

      I agree with Kate, each person is different so what may be dangerous for one person could be less dangerous for another. But perhaps I’m wrong and someone from the medical field could correct me.

      Also I think brain surgeries can be quite dangerous, and any surgery that takes a long time, where the surgeons get tired, are always going to have increased risk. My brother and cousin both had brain tumours removed and their surgeries were something like 18 hours each! That’s a LONG time for anybody to be concentrating on one job, let alone brain surgery!
