  What do you exactly mean affects the most? Probably what affects day to day stuff the most is my computer – if that freezes or crashes things don’t happen!

  Personally, or the actual science?
  
  Personally it’s just my own personal motivation. I’m having a really busy time right now and I’m a little stressed, and for some reason my brain thinks that it’s a good idea to bomb out on the motivation, so I’m struggling to get real work done (instead of procrastinating!)
  
  On the science side, hmmm…. I guess the internet is really important to me. I do very little on my own computer. I mean, I do my coding on my own laptop but I upload the code to various clusters at cern and around the world to run on the data. If i urgently need to run stuff but the sites around the world where my data is stored are busy, well, then no results for me 🙁
  
  That’s I guess what affects me on a daily basis
